Although typically considered a summer pest, mosquitoes now remain a major pest issue across the U.S. throughout the fall months. With mosquito populations so active, it is important to recognize these pests as far more than a nuisance. In fact, they pose a direct threat to public health due to their ability to transmit West Nile Virus.
