Although typically considered a summer pest, mosquitoes now remain a major pest issue across the U.S. throughout the fall months.  With mosquito populations so active, it is important to recognize these pests as far more than a nuisance.  In fact, they pose a direct threat to public health due to their ability to transmit West Nile Virus.  In the newest episode of the NPMA podcast series, our expert discusses the increased prevalence of mosquitoes in fall 2009 as well as the many preventative measures the public can take to protect themselves from the potential of West Nile Virus.
