NPMA and University of Kentucky Bed Bug Study in the News

Bed bugs – little creatures that come out from the crevices in and around your bed at night to feed on your blood. Sounds like a scene out of a horror movie, right? Unfortunately, bed bug infestations are becoming a harsh reality across the U.S. and around the world. The just released 2010 Comprehensive Global Bed Bug Study, conducted by NPMA and the University of Kentucky, offers some disturbing findings:

·95 percent of U.S. survey respondents indicating that their company has encountered a bed bug infestation in the past year;

· 76 percent of survey respondents believe bed bugs are THE hardest pest to treat, more so than cockroaches, ants and termites;
